Job SummaryYou will serve as a TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANT (OA) n the INSTALLATION AND LOGISTICS DEPARRTMENT of MARINE CORPS AIR STATION YUMA.
QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing support with transportation of material, supplies, equipment, vehicles, or parts in accordance with regulations, methods and practices. Major DutiesYou will coordinate freight shipments and select carriers.You will research transportation regulations and resolve discrepancies.You will prepare and review transportation documentation.You will compile data, prepare reports, and maintain accurate shipment records.You will investigate shipment losses or damages and produce office correspondence using automated systems.
