Job SummaryYou will serve as an Interdisciplinary Engineer/Scientist in the Cost & Schedule Analysis Dvision of NAWCTSD ORLANDO.
QualificationsIn addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13/14) or pay band (NM-04) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in order to perform the duties of a Supervisory Interdisciplinary Engineer/Scientist. Specialized experiences must include duties related to the following: (1) Serving as a Lead Cost and Schedule analyst developing the spectrum of products for Training Systems (TS) (IGS, IMS, EV, SRAs, IGCE, ROM, LCCE, etc.); (2) Building TS C&SA Teams and modernizing Processes and Tools to include digital applications (Power BI, AI), Peer Training and Coaching, Schedule and Cost processes, streamlining/automation/tailoring; (3) Building upon C&SA brand, expanding customer base, broadening C&SA demand, increasing scope for products and services; (4) Networking and influencing higher echelon levels; and (5) Mentoring or Coaching others, performing work related to iMentor, leadership programs, acting supervisor, rotation, shadowing, and management assignments. Major DutiesYou will manage and supervise Cost and Schedule Analysts and provide day-to-day direction.You will ensure the Cost and Schedule Branch complies with the Business Unit's operating rules and regulations.You will provide coordination and control of Cost and Schedule data produced and develop Command-wide processes, policy, toolkits, and standards.You will contribute to change and growth within the branch and department by assisting in the research and development of new tools, techniques, processes, and training.You will actively collaborate with other divisions and branches in the operation, management, and execution of the Cost and Schedule functionsYou will coordinate reviews with the department directors prior to meetings/events where analysis or products are being presented
