Position Summary
Reporting into the Regional Head of People Experience for Southeast Asia & Oceania, the Senior HR Business Partner will look after the regional commercial and corporate functions based in the Singapore office and serve as a strategic partner to business leaders, while maintaining close communication with senior management based in South Korea. Role and Responsibilities
Business Partnering (RHQ)
• Provide strategic guidance and recommendations on organizational design, workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning to business leaders in the Regional Office • Serving as the main point of contact for employee life cycle activities such as goal setting, performance evaluation, career progression, onboarding & offboarding, and grievance management • Partnering with HR COEs and functions (Compensation & Benefits, HR Operations, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, Shared Services Centre) to improve various frameworks and initiatives, while ensuring compliance with labor laws • Leverage people analytics and AI to anticipate issues or opportunities and bring data-driven solutions • Conducting employee- and business leaders-facing briefings on major HR policy changes or initiatives • Handle employee relations issues including grievances, disciplinary actions and conflict resolution
Culture, Engagement, Talent Management (Regional)
• Lead employee engagement initiatives, including engagement survey analysis, action planning, and follow-through with local country teams • Champion DEI and employee experience initiatives to foster an inclusive and positive workplace environment. • Lead regional talent initiatives including succession planning, performance management, and organizational design across the region.
Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related discipline • 10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, including 4-6 years in HR business partnering • Proven ability to partner effectively with senior stakeholders • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data literacy • Experience working in a multinational corporation (MNC) environment is preferred • Experience in managing 1-2 direct reports is preferred • Knowledge of Singapore employment laws and labor market • Fluency in Korean language is required
