We are looking for a Consultant – VAT Compliance to join our Brussels-based indirect tax team.
This is an entry-level position designed for recent graduates who want to build long-term expertise in VAT. You will join a close-knit team working directly with senior specialists and partners, following a structured methodology that requires time, commitment, and continuous learning.
This role is ideal for someone motivated to invest in developing deep VAT knowledge within a stable and collaborative environment. Your Responsibilities As a Consultant – VAT Compliance, you will:
• Prepare and review VAT returns under supervision for Belgian and international clients • Analyze accounting data to ensure VAT compliance • Support VAT registrations and compliance processes • Assist in responding to information requests from tax authorities • Monitor VAT legislative developments with guidance from senior team members • Apply and progressively master our internal VAT methodology • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and technical development
Your Profile
• Master’s degree in Tax Law, Law, Business, Economics, or related field • Recent graduate or first professional experience in tax/VAT • Strong interest in developing long-term expertise in VAT • Structured, detail-oriented, and well-organized • Able to manage deadlines and maintain quality under pressure • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn • Team-oriented and comfortable working in close collaboration • Fluent in English (Dutch and/or French are a strong asset) • Based in or willing to work from Brussels
Technical Skills
• Solid Excel skills • Comfortable with Microsoft Office • Any experience with VAT or reporting tools is a plus #Li-hybrid
