What You Can Expect:
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate ocean import shipments, including FCL, LCL, and consolidation cargo. • Act as a primary contact for customer inquiries and shipment updates. • Liaise with overseas offices, carriers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure smooth shipment execution. • Prepare, review, and manage shipping and import-related documentation. • Issue and verify documents such as Arrival Notices and Delivery Orders. • Maintain accurate shipment and customer data in the Transport Management System (TMS). • Support invoicing, shipment closing, and operational reporting activities. • Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve operational issues. • Identify customer needs and provide appropriate logistics solutions. • Ensure compliance with company procedures and applicable regulations.
What You Bring:
Qualifications Required
• Diploma, Vocational School Certificate, or Bachelor's Degree. • Minimum 1 year of professional working experience. • Good communication and coordination skills. • Basic English communication skills, including email correspondence. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook). • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Preferred
• Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, shipping, import/export, customer service, or administrative operations. • Experience in customer-facing or coordination roles. • Knowledge of import documentation and international trade. • Experience using logistics systems such as CargoWise or other TMS platforms. • Business-level English proficiency.
