As a GW Smartcomm - Manager, you will specialize in developing and customizing applications using the Guidewire platform, a software suite that provides insurance companies with tools for policy administration, claims management, and billing. Within our Technology Consulting practice, you will analyze client needs, implement software solutions, and provide training and support to optimize operational efficiency and enable clients to achieve their strategic objectives. As a Manager, you will lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. You are accountable for project success and maintaining standards, enhancing your leadership style to motivate, develop, and inspire others to deliver quality.
In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will take ownership of projects, confirming their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion. You will be responsible for coaching, leveraging team members' unique strengths, and managing performance to deliver on client expectations. With your growing knowledge of how business works, you play an important role in identifying opportunities that contribute to the success of our firm. Responsibilities
- Leading the development and customization of applications using the Guidewire Smartcomm platform for insurance clients - Designing, coding, and testing software solutions to meet the specific needs of insurance organizations - Analyzing client requirements and implementing software solutions to optimize operational efficiency - Providing training and support for seamless integration and utilization of business applications - Managing project planning, budgeting, execution, and completion to deliver client expectations - Coaching and mentoring team members to enhance their skills and performance - Encouraging innovation and embracing technology to improve service delivery - Identifying opportunities for improvement and contributing to the success of the firm - Addressing conflicts or issues and engaging in difficult conversations with stakeholders - Upholding professional and technical standards, including the firm's code of conduct and independence requirements
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree - At least 8 years of experience - Oral and written proficiency in English required

- - At least one of the following: Smartcomm or Thunderhead Certification - Sound knowledge of SMARTCOMM (Thunderhead) Suits of Products - Advanced Template Designer (Business Content Studio and Admin), Data Modeler (Business Object Studio), Review Now, Interview Now and Dashboard - Sound knowledge about SmartCOMM Modules - Data Modeler, Advanced Template Designer and Web Editor - Excelling in system development and software integration - Embracing change and fostering a culture of inclusion - Developing skills in software development methodologies and practices
