Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Junior IT Analyst to join our growing IT team. This role is ideal for someone early in their IT career who is eager to learn, enjoys helping people, and wants hands-on exposure to enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and user support operations. We are looking for someone who is proactive, approachable, curious, and eager to grow in a fast-paced IT environment. The ideal candidate enjoys solving problems, takes ownership of tasks, communicates effectively, and is always willing to support teammates and employees with a positive attitude. This is primarily a support-oriented role, so outstanding customer service and communication skills are just as important as technical ability.
Key Responsibilities · Serve as the first point of contact for employees needing IT assistance · Deliver excellent customer service through all employee interactions · Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, endpoint, and access issues · Support Windows desktop environments and Microsoft 365 applications · Assist with Windows Server, Active Directory (AD), and domain services administration · Support cloud-based systems, ideally Microsoft Azure and Entra ID · Escalate complex technical issues when needed while maintaining ownership and communication · Handle onboarding/offboarding processes and device provisioning · Assist with endpoint management tools such as Intune and Windows Autopilot · Help maintain IT asset inventory and documentation · Support basic networking and infrastructure troubleshooting · Assist with security-related operational tasks · Support internal reporting and monitoring activities as needed · Proactively identify opportunities to improve the employee IT experience · Take initiative to learn new technologies and contribute to IT projects Required Skills & Qualifications · 1–3 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or desktop support · Basic understanding of: o Windows Server o Active Directory (AD) o Domain services and group policies o Difference between domain and workgroup environments o Networking fundamentals including IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and network connectivity o Basic network troubleshooting for connectivity, Wi-Fi, and access-related issues o Familiarity with networking hardware such as switches, firewalls, and wireless access points · Exposure to cloud technologies, preferably Microsoft Azure · Understanding of Microsoft 365 administration · Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts and IT security best practices · Familiarity with endpoint support and troubleshooting · Strong spoken and written English communication skills · Friendly, approachable, and customer-service oriented personality · Self-starter with a proactive mindset and willingness to learn · Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player · Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications · Experience with Microsoft Azure or Entra ID · Exposure to Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot · Familiarity with Power Platform, SharePoint, or Power BI · Knowledge of Cyberhaven or similar security monitoring tools is a plus · Certifications such as: o CompTIA A+ o Network+ o Security+ o Microsoft Fundamentals certifications What We Expect From Every Pinnacle Employee Regardless of role, title, or tenure, you will be expected to:
