Job Title IWD Manager Factory Best Job Description In this role, you have the opportunity to lead the Integrated Warehousing & Distribution operations for Factory Best and contribute directly to safe, compliant, reliable and cost-effective supply chain performance. You will ensure that inbound goods receiving, storage, handling, line feeding and outbound operations run with strong daily management, clear controls and a continuous focus on zero defects, replenishment speed, healthy space utilization and flexibility. In this role you will work closely with business, factory, procurement, quality, regulatory and third-party logistics stakeholders to secure robust warehousing performance and support the transformation towards a best-in-class warehousing set-up for Factory Best.
You are responsible for
• Supporting the management of warehousing cost for IWD Best, including forecasting, AOP and SP processes.
• Securing full process compliance as defined by quality, regulatory, sustainability and legal trade bodies.
• Managing warehousing operations in Best, including inbound goods receiving, storage, handling and outbound operations.
• Driving operational excellence through strong controls and Daily Management on KPIs defined in the SLA, with a strong focus on zero defects, replenishment speed, healthy space utilization and flexibility.
• Acting as single point of contact with Indirect Procurement for the Rhenus contract and SLA, and as SPOC to business and factory stakeholders.
• Managing PO and invoice controls for Factory Best warehouses.
• Securing supply chain security on site in Best by leading by example, ensuring full training and process compliance, and maintaining audit readiness at all times.
• Ensuring sufficient warehousing capacity based on forecasted sales volumes, owning volume communication with the warehousing 3PL.
• Establishing and maintaining mutually beneficial supplier partnerships, ensuring strong vendor relationships and escalation mechanisms through the IWD Center of Excellence and Indirect Procurement network.
• Leading warehousing teams in Best, driving employee engagement, succession health and talent development to make Philips the best place to work.
You are a part of The IWD team of Factory Best reporting in the Factory Excellence team of Factory Best . Factory Best is a multi modality site, producing high quality, innovative medical systems, supplied to customers globally. Factory Best depends on safe, compliant and effective warehousing operations to support manufacturing, service and delivery performance. The warehousing organization manages inbound, storage, handling, line feeding and outbound flows while ensuring compliance, cost control, capacity readiness and strong third-party logistics performance. You will work with factory, supply chain, procurement, quality and external logistics partners to ensure the warehousing operation supports Factory Best’s operational and customer commitments.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant experience in warehousing, logistics, manufacturing operations or integrated supply chain, preferably in a regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, 3PL management, SLA/KPI management, capacity planning, cost control and operational performance management.
• Quality, compliance and audit-readiness mindset, with the ability to translate regulatory, sustainability and trade requirements into robust daily processes.
• Experience in supplier and stakeholder management, including procurement interfaces, vendor performance discussions and escalation management.
• Proven ability to lead teams, assign responsibilities, build engagement and develop talent in an operational environment.
• Strong analytical, communication, planning and organizational skills, with a hands-on and results-driven leadership style.
• Proven application of AI in current work field
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and verbal.
Compensation & Benefits Doing meaningful work should come with fair, transparent rewards. The base salary range for this role is €61.185 Gross – €101.976 Gross. We determine pay within the range using objective factors, like the skills the role requires, your relevant experience and the responsibility you'll have in this role, alongside internal equity and local market considerations. This role is eligible for maximum 3% bonus, with your rewards linked to KPIs/company results.
