About this role

The incumbent is responsible for developing, promoting and overseeing the business development and implementation of local and international executive programmes. This role will oversee and implement all marketing and promotional activities, to ensure learners’ objectives are met with quality executive programmes.

The incumbent is also responsible for ensuring the profitability and sustainability executive programmes, through active seeking of and initiating of collaboration opportunities with industry partners and key stakeholders, including Enterprise Singapore and others, and engagement of NTU Entrepreneurship Academy’s (NTUpreneur) Innovation and Entrepreneurship (I&E) and alumni networks. The incumbent will report to the Senior Assistant Director of EDP to uphold and enhance the reputation of NTUpreneur, while supporting strategic initiatives of the I&E Office and NTU.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Plan marketing strategies to increase business of NTUpreneur’s executive programmes

• Develop a viable marketing strategy for implementation and design marketing collaterals (digital for social media and global marketing platforms and print for roadshows).

• Seek potential corporate clients, global executive training platforms and identify business development opportunities.

• Prepare presentation decks to prospective corporate clients.

2. Facilitate and coordinate to design new and customised executive programmes

• Oversee the coordination between corporate clients, faculty/ Programme Director and Senior Assistant Director (SAD, EDP) to design customised courses for corporate clients.

• Identify and suggest trending topics, and potential markets for developing new executive programmes.

3. Oversee the implementation of processes to ensure smooth execution of key operations, policies and processes and efficiency in resource management

• Ensure relevance and quality of courses and quality of instructors hired to teach these courses.

• Coordinate with NTUpreneur’s Academic Director and NTU’s Professional and Continual Education (PaCE) to oversee the onboarding processes of instructors, mentors and industry partners.

• Plan course schedule and ensure availability of faculty and instructors.

• Oversee the operation and logistical arrangements of classes to create a positive learning experience and environment.

• Gather and analyse participants' feedback, identify areas for improvement, design and implement solutions.

4. Engage stakeholders and develop professional partnerships opportunities

• Identify individual and corporate stakeholders for partnership. Leverage on their strengths and strong network for the benefit of NTU executive programme learners.

• Design and implement stakeholder and corporate engagement activities to retain interest, and increase awareness of NTUpreneur’s executive programmes.

• Identify training grant opportunities and secure collaborations leading to access of these grants for our learners.

5. Oversee Programme’s budget and expenditure plan

• Oversee annual budget and expenditures and track business performance to ensure a healthy stream of revenue and profits.

• Plan and deploy resources effectively according to the University’s guidelines.

• Prepare monthly financial reports and statistics for PaCE and the Director, NTUpreneur.

• Identify and facilitate the submission of grant application proposals to funding agencies.

• Oversee the submission of courses to SkillsFuture/ SSG to secure funding support for participants.

Requirements:

• Degree in business or entrepreneurship with at least 3 years of experience in leading CET programme in an Institute of Higher Learning or equivalent

• Experience in working with the government/ quasi-government agencies and administering grant processes and overseeing auditing processes

• Possess a good network consisting of entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs and industry partners

• Possess excellent writing and oral communication and presentation skills
