Job Description
Nine is seeking an agile, tech-forward Business Manager to spearhead our direct SMB growth strategy, empowering local brands to scale on Australia’s leading BVOD streaming platform, 9Now!
Operating at the intersection of media and technology, you will act as an autonomous founder of your territory, revolutionising traditional advertising through our self-serve ad-tech ecosystem.
Day to day you will:
• Drive outbound business development across NSW to introduce high-potential SMBs to our ad-tech platform.
• Educate direct clients on leveraging the Nine Ad Manager dashboard to launch premium streaming TV campaigns from a $500 baseline.
• Consult on hyper-local data targeting options, guiding clients through postcode, demographic, and behavioural parameters.
• Streamline campaign creation by introducing clients to Nine Ad Manager’s built-in AI creative suite.
• Champion data-driven outcomes by helping clients set up Pixel Tracking to monitor real-time website conversions and ROI.
• Build and manage a high-value network of regular, digitally native local advertisers as the founder of your territory.
Qualifications
What you’ll bring:
• A proactive "founder" mindset with the drive to treat your territory as an autonomous digital business.
• Strong ad-tech or digital platform literacy, with the ability to translate digital metrics like CPM and attribution into tangible value.
• Proven consultative capability to build strong relationships with decision-makers and guide their digital transformation.
• High commercial drive and motivation to succeed within a performance-based commission structure.
• Exceptional communication skills and a strategic mindset to manage multiple campaign lifecycles simultaneously.
• A valid driver's licence and vehicle to actively manage and connect with your local territory.
