Hourly Rate The hourly rate for this position is $28.00/hour This position is a Temporary position that is not benefits-eligible. This position requires enrollment in a PERA retirement account. Position Summary Campus Recreation is looking for currently certified, motivated and energetic instructors to join our team for the Fall 2026 semester. We are currently looking for instructors with experience teaching the following formats:

• All Yoga formats • All Les Mills formats • Martial Arts Inspired Classes • Mat Pilates • Hip-Hop/Dance Inspired Classes

Group Fitness Instructors are responsible for creating a motivational and welcoming fitness environment. Instructors will teach a variety of modes of exercise in the group setting, ranging from yoga to strength training to Auraria Campus community members of all ages and abilities. Successful candidates will also become familiar with and knowledgeable of all Campus Recreation program areas

Required Qualifications

• Current nationally accredited teaching certification and or/certificates

• First Aid/CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire

• Someone able to bring the energy any time of the day

• Have the ability and knowledge to provide exercise modificaitons when needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a gym, recreation center, or studio

• Experience in teaching in a variety of Group Fitness formats.

Fall 2026 Group Classes start on Monday August 24, 2026. We are looking for instructors that have availability during the following times:

Monday - Thursday

• 8 a.m.- 9 a.m.

• 9:30- 10:30 a.m.

• noon - 1p.m.

• 2 - 3 p.m.

• 5:15 - 6:15 p.m.

Friday

• noon - 1 p.m.

• 1- 2 p.m.
