Part-Time Aviation Protection Officer Location: Port Hedland Airport, WA
Are you looking for a rewarding role in the aviation security industry? Join our team as a Part-Time Aviation Protection Officer at Port Hedland Airport and play an important role in maintaining the safety and security of airport operations.
What We Offer
• Level 2 Pay Grade: $29.24 per hour
• Superannuation
• Shift loading penalties where applicable
• Flexible part-time hours
• Full training provided, including:
• Certificate II in Transport Security Protection
• On-the-Job Training (OJT)
• ASIC card costs covered by us
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct aviation security screening in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Monitor access control points and restricted areas
• Perform passenger, baggage, and vehicle screening
• Respond professionally to security incidents and emergencies
• Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining security standards
• Follow all workplace health, safety, and security procedures
Essential Requirements To be considered for this role, you must:
• Have valid Australian work rights
• Be able to successfully pass a Drug and Alcohol test
• Be eligible to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) (company-funded)
• Be reliable, professional, and able to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Have strong communication and customer service skills
• Be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Desirable
• Previous experience in security, aviation, customer service, or a similar role (not essential)
