Job Responsibilities
• Develop and implement structured process to review and ensure laboratory chemical inventories are compliance against applicable Singapore regulatory requirements. • Identify chemicals requiring licenses, permits, or additional controls and assist in documenting compliance assessments and actions. • Support the review and reconciliation of laboratory chemical inventories between SAP and e-Kanban systems. • Assist in identifying obsolete, inactive, or redundant chemical records and recommend updates or removal from SAP inventory records. • Perform data collection, analysis, and reporting to improve inventory accuracy, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with cGMP, site procedures, and data integrity requirements. • Participate in end-to-end retention sample management program including archival, retrieval and disposal of expired retention sample. • Practice Safety, Environmental, and cGMP requirements according to site/global procedures and relevant regulations. • Collaborate closely with laboratory personnel, Quality Control and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) stakeholders to support project objectives. • Present project findings, progress updates, and recommendations to the leadership team upon completion of the internship. • Regulatory assessment of laboratory chemicals against applicable Singapore laws and licensing requirements. • Reconciliation and optimization of chemical inventories between SAP and e-Kanban systems. • Development of inventory status reports and compliance tracking dashboards using Excel, Power BI, or other digital tools. • Completion of expired retention sample disposal activities for API and PW retention rooms. • Recommendations for process improvements related to retention sample management and chemical inventory governance. Job Requirements
• Diploma Pharmaceutical Science, Life Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Engineering, or related disciplines. • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail. • Effective oral and written communication skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. • Ability to work with large data sets and perform inventory reconciliation activities. • Positive attitude, self-motivated, and willing to learn. • Strong sense of responsibility and ownership. • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. • Ability to work in a regulated pharmaceutical environment and adhere to safety and cGMP requirements.
