M&Ms Retail (MMS.com)- M&M Print Shop Team Member - Hackettstown, NJ
• Pay: $23.56/hour and $1.50 shift premium.
Shift Requirements:
• Monday to Friday with rotating shifts between days and afternoons
• Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Afternoon Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Note: Shift and hours may vary based on volume and demand throughout the year
• Note: Must be willing to work various rotating shifts including weekends, holidays and seasonal peak time
Description of Role: The Print Shop Team Member is responsible for printing, bagging, shipping, and co-packing. This role is part of a manufacturing team focused on efficiently personalizing M&M's products. It is important to note that this is not a graphic design position.
What are we looking for? Minimum Requirements:
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent education
• Strong interest in manufacturing
• Eager to learn equipment operation and basic maintenance
• Competency and comfort with computer and PC software (MS Office and email)
Physical Requirements:
• Can perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs)
• Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping.
• Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment, and operate in confined spaces.
• Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods, with shifts lasting 12 hours
• Capable of working in hot, cold and wet conditions
• Proficient in understanding, communicating, reading, and writing in English.
• This is a peanut facility
Preferred Qualifications:
• Technical degree or certifications (s)
• Previous manufacturing facility experience
• SAP experience
• Understands production schedules, production computer systems, work instructions, etc.
What will be your Key Responsibilities?
• Performs all assigned activities & job tasks within a manufacturing line or area
• Takes corrective actions in solving problems to root cause level
• Able to assess equipment operating reliability and perform routine repairs, adjustments and malfunction troubleshooting.
• They operate/change over specified machinery in the assigned area.
• Performs and/or works with Maintenance to complete equipment preventative maintenance (PM)
• Autonomous Maintenance- learns how to maintain and clean equipment which includes disassembly and reassembly.
• Performs quality control (QC) tasks such as metal checks, inspection of date codes, item numbers, dump logs, waste tracking etc.
• High degree of ownership for product quality: Performs all standard QC & other quality related duties
• Maintain accurate records of quality checks (QC, production numbers or waste performance)
• Keeps detailed log books: Performs all shift support documentation in a quality matter
