Role Profile: Quality Assurance Manager – AI-Driven Quality Engineering The Quality Assurance Manager is a hands-on Quality Engineering leader responsible for driving quality excellence across Agile web development projects built on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). This role requires a strong technical leader who can operate both as a people manager and an individual contributor, leading automation initiatives while actively contributing to solution design, test engineering, production issue investigation, and continuous quality improvements. The successful candidate will champion an AI-first, Automation-first testing strategy, leveraging modern AI tools and engineering practices to accelerate delivery, improve quality, reduce testing effort, and safeguard production releases. The role will challenge existing processes, drive innovation, and establish a culture of continuous improvement, quality ownership, and engineering excellence.
Key Responsibilities
• Define and drive the Quality Engineering strategy with a strong focus on AI, automation, and continuous testing. • Lead adoption of AI-powered testing practices using tools such as Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, Cursor AI, and emerging AI technologies. • Act as a hands-on technical leader, contributing to automation development, framework design, test strategy, root cause analysis, and production issue debugging. • Establish and evolve scalable automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright using Java, Python, and TypeScript. • Drive in-sprint automation and ensure quality is embedded throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). • Challenge existing processes and implement modern Quality Engineering practices that improve efficiency, coverage, and speed of delivery. • Ensure robust production safeguards through risk-based testing, regression controls, release readiness reviews, and quality gates within CI/CD pipelines. • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Architecture, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality digital experiences. • Define and monitor quality metrics including automation coverage, defect leakage, escaped defects, release readiness, and production stability. • Lead implementation of intelligent test generation, self-healing automation, and AI-assisted defect analysis. • Build and mentor high-performing QA teams with a strong focus on innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement. • Ensure artifacts(Testcase/Test plans/Test strategies) are thoroughly documented, tested, and production-ready before release.
Essential Skills
• 12+ years of experience in Test Automation and Quality Engineering, including 2+ years leading QA teams. • Proven experience driving AI-enabled Quality Engineering transformation. • Strong hands-on expertise with Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, and modern automation frameworks. • Strong programming skills in Java, Python, and TypeScript. • Practical experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, Cursor AI, or similar platforms. • Strong experience with API testing using Postman, SoapUI, REST APIs, and service validation. • Deep understanding of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, Shift-Left Testing, and Continuous Testing practices. • Experience integrating automation frameworks with BrowserStack or similar cloud testing platforms. • Strong Linux/UNIX and shell scripting experience. • Experience working within AWS cloud environments. • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to investigate and resolve complex production issues. • Experience with Jira, Confluence, TestRail, Zephyr, Git, GitLab, and enterprise development . • Experience in testing client facing digital websites (accessibility, search, cross-browser, SEO validation, analytics validation, A/B testing & personalization validation)

Preferred Skills
• Experience working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). • Performance testing experience using JMeter, K6, or equivalent tools. • Exposure to AI/ML application testing, Prompt Testing, and Responsible AI practices.
• Professional certifications in Quality Engineering, Cloud Technologies, Agile, DevOps, AI Engineering, or Test Automation. • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE/BTech) or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related discipline.
