GOVERNMENT OF PAKISTAN PAKISTAN RAILWAYS CAREER OPPORTUNITIES Applications are invited from suitable Pakistani Nationals for appointment against the following project positions under the PSDP project titled "Establishment of Business Development & HR Support Unit, Pakistan Railways." Appointments will be made purely on a contract basis under the Project Pay Scale (PPS) system. 1. Marketing Expert Posts: 02 PPS: 09 Maximum Age: 45 Years Qualification MBA/MS (Marketing) or SCM related area or related discipline. Minimum 16 years of education. All degrees must be recognized by PEC/HEC (as applicable). Experience / Brief JD Minimum ten (10) years post-qualification experience in Marketing, Business Development, Market Research or Customer Analytics, preferably in transport, logistics, public sector or service industry. Collect and analyze customer data. Identify KPIs and report marketing metrics. Assist in setting up analytics tools. Conduct online marketing initiatives. Design marketing strategies for Pakistan Railways. Evaluate marketing strategies and recommend improvements. Develop pricing strategies balancing business objectives and customer satisfaction. Perform any other task assigned by the Competent Authority. 2. Senior Officer IT Posts: 01 PPS: 08 Maximum Age: 45 Years Qualification BS (4 Years) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or equivalent. Professional certifications (CCNA, MCSE, CompTIA A+, Network+) will be an advantage. Minimum 16 years of education. Degree recognized by PEC/HEC. Experience / Brief JD Minimum five (05) years post-qualification experience in IT Support, Network/Hardware Administration or Office Systems Management. Experience in: Windows Server environment. LAN/WAN & Wi-Fi networks. Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint). VPN and networking. File servers & centralized storage. Backup & recovery systems. IT procurement. Installation, configuration & maintenance. Public sector, railway, infrastructure, engineering consultancy or World Bank-funded projects will be preferred. Any other task assigned by the Competent Authority. 3. Computer Operator Posts: 01 PPS: 04 Age: 18–30 Years 5 Years General Age Relaxation Included Qualification Bachelor's/Graduation Degree (preferably Computer Science). Degree recognized by PEC/HEC. Experience Minimum two (02) years experience in computer operations, data management or related work. Skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). InPage Urdu. Junior Clerk Posts: 02 PPS: 03 Age: 18–30 Years 5 Years General Age Relaxation Included Qualification Matriculation. Typing speed of 30 WPM. Three weeks Basic IT Training Course (including MS Office) conducted by NITB. Degree recognized by Board of Secondary Education. Experience Minimum two (02) years clerical/administrative experience preferred. Skills: MS Office. Good typing speed. Data entry. Database management. Office record keeping. Strong organizational skills. Good communication in English and Urdu. Any other task assigned by the Competent Authority. General Instructions Appointments are purely on contract basis for one year (extendable based on performance/project duration). Place of posting: Anywhere in Pakistan Railways. Salary as per Standard Pay Package issued by the Finance Division. Only post-qualification experience will be considered. Foreign degree holders must provide HEC/PEC equivalence certificate. Maximum age already includes applicable age relaxation. Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous employees must apply through proper channel with departmental NOC.
