Mitsubishi UFJ Investor Services and Banking (Luxembourg) S.A. (MIBL) is a Bank incorporated in Luxembourg and is fully owned by Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation, member of the Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, one of the largest financial groups worldwide. MIBL provides a wide range of financial services to institutional investors including depositary, custody, fund administration and other banking-related services. MIBL now has an opening in its Finance Department for a: Accounting Supervisor - (M/F) (Ref: MIBLAC_072026) Primary day to day responsibilities (including but not limited to): Role responsibilities: - Review the Group reporting package prepared by the team, including Japanese GAAP, US GAAP, Consolidated reports, Basel III report, Country by country reporting for MUTB headquarter; - Assist the Head of the Accounting Section, advise on various accounting matters in appropriate manner; - Review and approval of accounting entries in Olympic; - Review the Budget monitoring and provisions of General expenses process; - Review the preparation of monthly provisions for Commissions receivables and payables; - Participate in the annual accounts preparation of MIBL and Management Company (MUFGLM); - Establish, review, update of the Finance Department policies, internal working procedures support the implementation of external regulations affecting Finance Department. - Assist with the validation of General Expenses and payments in Novabank; - Control the intercompany transaction report for MUFG group; - Assist the Head of Finance during the statutory audit of the Bank and the Management company, by providing external auditors with the necessary supporting documents; - Control the coverage of foreign exchange position for bookings and payments issued by Accounting Department; - Recording Back values transaction analysis and recording process - Interest monitoring file preparation; - Accounting for Financial Instruments; - Preparation of monthly reports to the General Management and/or Committees; - Review and update of Finance department procedures; - Assist other departments in any corporate matters; - In charge of Accounting matters under IFRS; - Advising on new accounts creation and testing in Olympic; - Contributes to the development and implementation of processes and internal controls; - Assists the Head of Accounting in acting as a mentor for other accounting members by providing guidance, professional development and performance feedback; - Consolidation of accounts - Assisting Head of Finance in financial planning, reporting, finance projects and strategic initiatives. - Act as a backup of the other members of the team. Your profile: - Good knowledge of Accounting under Lux GAAPs and IFRS; - Good understanding of the bank's business; - High professional consciousness. - Good analytical and organizational skills; - Good communicational skills; - Good knowledge of English (all other language is an asset); - Good knowledge of PC handling; - Discretion efficiency & initiative.
