CNC MILLER / CNC MACHINIST – VALTIMO COMPONENTS OYJ **Are you looking for a CNC machining position where you can put your skills to use in a wide range of tasks?** Valtimo Components Oyj is looking for a skilled **CNC Miller / CNC Machinist** to join our team in Valtimo, Finland, in a permanent position. We are growing and continuously developing our production capabilities. We are now looking for a CNC milling professional to strengthen our machining team. We manufacture demanding, high-precision components for Finnish and international high-tech customers in industries including defence, medical technology, electronics, and other technically demanding sectors. What does the job involve? Depending on your skills and experience, your responsibilities will include: - CNC milling - machine setup - tool selection and tool management - creating and modifying CNC programs - measuring finished components and ensuring product quality - developing machining methods and manufacturing processes We operate a modern range of CNC machinery, including **Makino and Quaser machining centres**. We also use **Mastercam** for CNC programming. We value previous experience in CNC milling, programming, machine setup, and the ability to work independently. Most importantly, we are looking for someone with solid basic machining skills, attention to detail, and a genuine willingness to learn and develop professionally. What do we offer? To be considered for the position, we require: - a **vocational qualification in machining, mechanical engineering, metalwork, or another relevant technical field**, or ongoing studies toward a relevant qualification - a basic understanding of CNC machining - a careful, precise, and quality-focused approach to your work - a willingness to learn, develop your skills, and take responsibility for your own work - a **valid right to work in Finland** Depending on the assigned duties, the position may require the successful completion of a **security clearance**. Previous experience in **CNC milling, Mastercam programming, CNC programming, machine setup, Fanuc or similar control systems** is considered an advantage. However, you do not need to know everything from day one. We are also interested in **motivated students and recent graduates** who have a solid foundation in machining and a strong desire to develop into skilled CNC machining professionals.
