As a forklift driver / warehouse worker in Geel, you play a crucial role in the warehouse of a leading logistics company. You are responsible for safely moving goods, loading and unloading trucks, and efficiently processing orders. With your forklift experience and broad interest in logistics, you contribute to the smooth operation of the warehouse. A typical workday starts with a shift handover, where you review the plan with your colleagues. You work alternating early or late shifts and are responsible for order picking with an RF scanner, processing incoming and outgoing goods, and accurate registration in the warehouse management system (WMS). Safety, accuracy, and teamwork are key. You switch smoothly between different tasks and solve problems independently.
