Duties and responsibilities: Conducting comprehensive diagnostic tests and analyses on trucks. Identifying and resolving mechanical, electrical, and electronic malfunctions. Utilizing advanced diagnostic equipment and software. Performing preventive maintenance and inspections. Documenting the work performed and findings. Collaborating with other technicians and departments to solve complex problems. Staying up to date with the latest technologies and developments in the trucking industry. Higher diploma in Automotive Technology or a comparable education. Volvo experience is a plus but not required. Candidates with experience in other truck brands (e.g., Mercedes, MAN, Iveco) are welcome, as long as they know how to use diagnostic software and have experience as a Diagnostic Technician.. Experience as a diagnostic technician or in a similar role. Thorough knowledge of truck mechanics and electronics. Heard from CAN-bus systems, sensors and potentiometers. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills and customer focus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A C-class driver’s license is a plus. Experience with electric trucks is a big advantage, as the company needs to switch to a greener fleet by 2030. A curious and smart candidate who is eager to learn. The truck industry is always changing, and they need someone who stays up to date and is open to training.
