Introduction The Director Environmental, Health, Safety & Security (EHS&S) provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for all EHS&S programs across the Dresden site and the broader EMEA region. This role accountable for protecting employees, contractors, communities, assets, and the environment, while driving full compliance with German, EU, and corporate regulations and standards. The Director serves as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and plays a critical role in embedding a strong safety and security culture across the organization. Required Qualifications - Bachelor/Master in Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field; advanced professional certifications are an advantage. - Extensive experience in EHS&S leadership roles within complex, regulated environments (e.g., manufacturing, life sciences, energy, technology, or similar industries). - Deep knowledge of German and EU EHS&S regulations, standards, and best practices. - Demonstrated ability to lead large, diverse teams and influence senior leaders. - Strong business acumen with the ability to balance risk management, compliance, and operational excellence. - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills. - Fluent in German and English (Written & Verbal: C1).
