What we offer: - Exciting projects and a place for technical freedom and innovation to get things moving - Attractive benefits packages e.g. competitive remuneration, social benefits, 30 days annual holiday, car leasing, free on-site gym - A challenging, fulfilling workplace in a multi-national company within a familiar atmosphere - driven by fascination and passion Your tasks: - Work in conjunction with race engineers on setting up race cars and driver performance at race events, tests and DiL simulator sessions - Analyse data using dedicated data acquisition software and additional analysis techniques to optimize the car performance - Work on simulation tools to optimize the performance of the cars - Compile detailed technical race events and tests reports - Conduct thorough analysis of vehicle performance data, identifying areas for improvement, and provide actionable insights to the engineering and design teams - Collaborate with the vehicle dynamics team to optimize setup and tuning for different tracks and race conditions - Develop and implement innovative strategies to enhance the car's handling, aerodynamics, and overall performance - Conduct simulations and testing to assess the impact of design modifications on vehicle performance - Co-develop analysis and strategy tools for trackside operations - Participate in on-track testing and data acquisition to evaluate performance and validate improvements - Stay up to date with the latest advancements in GT3 racing technology and incorporate relevant findings into the development process - Extensive travel to European and/or international events will be required The successful candidate will have: - A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline - Experience in working with GT3 race car manufacturers or racing teams - Proven track record in data analysis, including proficiency with motorsport data analysis tools such as Magneti Marelli Wintax/Sysma, Bosch Windarab, Racecon, PiToolbox, Atlas - In-depth knowledge of vehicle dynamics, aerodynamics, tyre modelling and data analysis tools - Proficiency in using simulation software such as MATLAB, SIMPACK, or similar - Experience in strategy software such as HH-timing, One Timing or similar - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment - Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts effectively - A well-organized approach and the ability to handle pressure under pace - An analytical understanding and reporting skills via given analytical tools - A basic knowledge of race car regulations and homologation processes - A flexible approach to working hours and tasks is essential - A high willingness to travel
