About this role
* Conduct client consultations and obtain a comprehensive health history before treatment. * Assess clients and identify areas requiring massage therapy intervention. * Develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals. * Provide professional massage therapy treatments using appropriate techniques. * Perform techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, myofascial techniques, trigger point therapy, and other appropriate therapeutic techniques within the therapist's scope of practice. * Monitor client comfort and modify treatments as required. * Maintain accurate and confidential client treatment records. * Educate clients about aftercare, home-care recommendations, posture, stretching, and self-care when appropriate. * Maintain professional standards of hygiene, sanitation, and infection prevention and control. * Clean and disinfect the treatment area and equipment between clients. * Follow all applicable professional, health, safety, and regulatory requirements. * Maintain client confidentiality and protect personal health information. * Communicate professionally with clients and clinic staff. * Provide excellent customer service and contribute to a welcoming and professional clinic environment. * Maintain professional knowledge through continuing education and ongoing learning.
