_About the Position:_
Mowatt Canine Company is seeking a dependable and motivated individual to join our team as a Weekend Kennel Attendant. This hands-on, fast-paced position involves dog handling, cleaning, customer service, and general facility support.
The successful applicant will be comfortable working independently and as part of a team while maintaining a safe, clean, and professional environment for the dogs in our care.
_Responsibilities:_
* Supervising and safely handling dogs of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments * Cleaning and sanitizing kennels, equipment, work areas, and shared spaces * Assisting clients during dog drop-off and pick-up * Processing payments and providing professional customer service * Working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions * Following established safety, cleaning, and animal-handling procedures * Supporting the team with daily operational tasks as required
_Qualifications and Requirements:_
* Comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and breeds * Able to safely lift a minimum of 50 lbs * Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions * High school diploma or equivalent required * Strong communication and teamwork skills * Full weekend availability * Customer service or animal-care experience is considered an asset but is not required * Reliable transportation is required, as this position involves split shifts and employees must be able to travel to and from the facility between scheduled work periods.
