*Responsibilities*
* Install, repair, or replace asphalt shingles and other roofing materials * Prepare roofs for shingling, including tearing off old materials * Assist with loading/unloading materials and setting up job sites * Maintain a clean and safe work environment * Follow safety protocols and use appropriate PPE at all times * Work at heights and on ladders/scaffolding * Support skilled tradespeople and follow instructions from supervisors * Assist with minor repairs and general labour tasks as needed * Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete various construction tasks * Apply caulking and sealants as needed for weatherproofing and insulation * Assist in heavy lifting of materials and equipment during projects * Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications * Maintain a clean and organized work environment
*Requirements*
* Previous roofing or construction experience preferred (shingling experience is a strong asset) * Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor environments * Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs regularly * Basic knowledge of roofing tools and equipment * Reliable transportation to and from job sites * Strong work ethic and willingness to learn * Ability to work well in a team and follow directions * Experience with caulking techniques is preferred * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship * Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting
