We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, providing excellent patient care, and ensuring smooth pharmacy operations. Duties
* Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, labeling, and dispensing * Manage inventory of pharmaceuticals and supplies to ensure stock levels are maintained * Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions and offering guidance under pharmacist supervision * Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient information in compliance with regulatory standards * Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and processing prescriptions * Ensure cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy environment * Support medication administration processes as needed, including assisting with patient education
Qualifications
* Prior hospital or pharmacy technician experience is highly preferred * Experience with Kroll. * Strong understanding of medical terminology and medication administration procedures * Experience in patient care environments is a plus * Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail * Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team * Knowledge of pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance standards is advantageous * Certification or training in pharmacy assistance or related fields is a plus
