We are currently looking for a Supervisor to join or Operations team in Kingston, ON.
This role is critical to ensuring efficient operations, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a safe and collaborative work environment. The successful candidate will oversee daily production activities, manage staff performance, and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
*Key Responsibilities and Job Duties*
* Supervise and coordinate daily activities of production staff across multiple divisions. * Ensure adherence to food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards throughout all processes. * Monitor production schedules and allocate resources to meet operational goals. * Conduct quality checks to maintain product standards and resolve any discrepancies promptly. * Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to promote skill development and productivity. * Maintain accurate records of production output, equipment maintenance, and compliance checks. * Collaborate with management to implement process improvements and efficiency initiatives. * Address and report operational issues, ensuring timely resolution. * Support a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the production environment.
*Qualifications*
* 3?5 years of supervisory experience in food production or a similar environment. * Strong knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and HACCP compliance. * Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. * Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced setting. * Effective communication skills for team coordination and reporting. * Basic proficiency in production metrics and inventory management. * Food handler?s certificate required, additional certifications an asset.
