*Overview* We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating memorable guest experiences, possess strong knowledge of beverage preparation, and demonstrate excellent time management and multitasking skills. The Bartender will be responsible for mixing drinks, serving guests, and maintaining a clean and welcoming bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and responsible alcohol service.
*Responsibilities*
* Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems. * Cash out VLT tickets, and Western Lotto sales * Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience. * Take orders, serve drinks, and handle cash transactions with precision, demonstrating strong cashiering skills including cash handling and basic math. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling protocols. * Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts. * Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking practices. * Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods. * Uphold all food safety standards and comply with health regulations related to the food industry. * Manage multiple tasks efficiently through effective time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
*Qualifications*
* Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in bartending or serving roles. * Previous experience with VLTs and Western Lotto would be an asset. * Familiarity with POS systems * Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. * Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. * Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations. * Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously. * Ability to work effectively in a team environment within the hospitality industry. * A friendly personality with a professional attitude committed to delivering exceptional service.
