Western Zone is seeking a full-time Clinical Assistant to join the Hospitalist Program at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville, NL. Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital serves as a 44-bed center in Western Newfoundland, delivering a broad range of secondary and select tertiary services.Work EnvironmentStephenville and the Bay St. George region offer an exceptional quality of life. Just a short drive away you can explore the Port au Port Peninsula or take in the natural beauty of western Newfoundland ? with Gros Morne National Park approximately 1.5 hours away.????????????????????????????????????????QUALIFICATIONSEligible for licensure as a Clinical Assistant with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador (www.cpsnl.ca)Must satisfy privileging and credentialing requirements of NL Health Services Western Zone????????????????????????????????????????DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESWork as a member of the Hospitalist team to assist physicians with patient rounds, admissions, and dischargesPerform other duties as required within the scope and qualifications of the Clinical Assistant licenseProvide after-hours, weekend, and statutory holiday on-call coverage as assignedSupport person- and family-centered care; promote patient and worker safety by integrating safety into work practices, identifying risks, and implementing improvements????????????????????????????????????????REMUNERATIONRemuneration will be in accordance with the Memorandum of Agreement for salaried physicians in Newfoundland and Labrador. The successful candidate will have access to paid leave, medical and dental insurance, and pension contributions.Available Incentives:Physician Signing Bonus ? CAD 150,000Come Home Incentive ?
