*Job Summary* We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to operate various types of vehicles and equipment.
*Responsibilities*
* Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations around the Greater Ottawa Area. * Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transit. * Communicate effectively with staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. * Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed for loading and unloading tasks.
*Experience*
* Experience in driving a cargo van with a valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle class being operated. * Experience operating forklifts or heavy equipment is a plus. * Familiarity with freight handling procedures is beneficial. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for managing delivery schedules effectively.
