*Job Overview*
We are looking for a detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Assistant to join our team in a pharmaceutical and medical laboratory setting. The successful candidate will support laboratory operations, perform sample analysis, and maintain equipment in compliance with industry standards.
*Key Responsibilities:*
- Examine the results of the tests
- Set up medical laboratory equipment
- Clean and maintain medical laboratory and laboratory equipment
- Conduct quality control assessment of testing techniques
- Prepare samples
- Analyze data and prepare reports
- Staff in various areas of responsibility
*Requirements Education:*
College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year or equivalent experience
*Experience:*
5 years or more
*Specialized Experience & Skills:*
- Analytical techniques: GC-MS/FID system, Chromatography
- Laboratory testing and analysis
*Computer and technology knowledge: *MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word
*Area of work experience:* Pharmaceuticals and medicines
*Area of specialization:* Testing
*Work Conditions & Physical Capabilities:*
- Ability to work independently
- Combination of sitting, standing, walking
- Attention to detail
- Work under pressure
