About the role.The Emerging Tech Analyst plays a critical role in identifying, evaluating, and supporting the adoption of new and evolving technologies that enhance McCain's AI capabilities and accelerate use-case delivery. This role focuses on researching emerging trends across AI technologies, conducting structured evaluations, supporting pilots, and translating innovative concepts into scalable, value-driven solutions within McCain's AI ecosystem. What you'll be doing.Monitor and research emerging technologies across AI, agentic systems, and the McCain technology stackEvaluate business impact, technical fit, risk, and readiness of new tools and modelsDevelop recommendations for pilots, proofs of concept, and broader adoptionSupport the design and execution of technology pilots and structured experimentsPartner with AI Platform & Engineering teams to transition successful pilots into deployment pathwaysDocument findings, lessons learned, and reusable assessment frameworksCollaborate with cross-functional teams including AI Platform & Engineering, Knowledge Engineering, and business stakeholdersTranslate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable business insightsIdentify risks related to security, privacy, compliance, and Responsible AICreate and share insights, trends, and best practices across Digital Technology What you'll need to be successful.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field3–6 years of experience in technology, innovation, or digital transformation rolesStrong knowledge of emerging AI technologies, models, and agentic platformsExperience supporting pilots, evaluations, or early-stage technology implementationsAbility to assess technical concepts and communicate them in business-friendly termsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsExperience in enterprise or regulated environments is a plus About the team.This role sits within the AI function and reports to the AI Deployment & Enablement Lead. The Emerging Tech Analyst partners closely with AI Platform & Engineering, Forward Deployment Engineers, Knowledge Engineering, and Use Case Governance & Operations teams. It is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, focused on collaboration, innovation, and enabling enterprise AI adoption.
