*Duties*
* Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and brushing for a variety of dog and cat (optional) breeds * Maintain a clean and safe grooming area, adhering to sanitation standards * Assess each pet?s coat, skin, and overall health, reporting any concerns to pet owners or management * Use grooming tools and equipment properly to achieve desired styles while ensuring pet comfort * Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about grooming needs and recommendations * Manage appointment schedules efficiently, ensuring timely service delivery * Handle heavy lifting of pets or equipment as needed with care and safety precautions * Ensure all grooming supplies are stocked and maintained properly
*Skills*
* Proven experience in pet grooming is required * Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients * Ability to handle heavy lifting of pets or equipment safely and comfortably * Compassionate attitude towards animals, with patience and gentle handling skills * Attention to detail to ensure high-quality grooming results * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment * Knowledge of different breed standards and grooming techniques is a plus
