Northern Outreach and Clinical Services Inc. provides individualized Applied Behaviour Analysis services to children, youth, adults, and families throughout Greater Sudbury and surrounding communities.Our team is committed to providing respectful, evidence-informed, and person-centred services that promote meaningful skill development, independence, participation, and quality of life.Services are delivered in clinic, home, school, childcare, community, and approved virtual settings under the direction and oversight of a Registered Behaviour Analyst.Position Overview:Northern Outreach and Clinical Services is seeking a professional, dependable, and compassionate Instructor Therapist to join our clinical team.The Instructor Therapist provides direct Applied Behaviour Analysis services in accordance with individualized clinical programs developed and supervised by the assigned clinical team.The position is responsible for implementing approved teaching and behaviour-support procedures, collecting accurate data, completing timely clinical documentation, preparing session materials, and communicating relevant observations to the supervising clinical team.The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, professionalism, reliability, and a willingness to participate in ongoing supervision, coaching, training, and competency development.Key ResponsibilitiesThe Instructor Therapist will: Deliver individualized Applied Behaviour Analysis services in accordance with approved clinical programs. Provide direct one-to-one and small-group services in clinic, home, school, childcare, community, and other approved settings. Implement skill-acquisition programs, behaviour-support procedures, and teaching strategies as directed by the supervising clinical team. Support the development of communication, social, play, daily living, emotional regulation, independence, and other individualized skills. Follow written clinical protocols, teaching procedures, prompting strategies, reinforcement systems, data-collection procedures, and safety plans. Collect accurate, objective, and timely data during client sessions. Complete session notes, clinical documentation, and required records within established timelines. Prepare and organize teaching materials, visual supports, data sheets, and other session resources. Monitor client participation, progress, and response to programming. Communicate relevant changes, barriers, concerns, or safety issues to the appropriate supervisor. Seek clarification before modifying or deviating from an approved clinical program. Participate in clinical observations, supervision meetings, coaching, competency assessments, and ongoing training. Receive and apply constructive feedback in a professional and timely manner. Communicate respectfully and professionally with clients, caregivers, colleagues, schools, childcare providers, and community partners. Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and protect client privacy and confidentiality. Follow all organizational policies, clinical standards, health and safety procedures, and incident-reporting requirements. A diploma or degree in Behavioural Science, Autism and Behavioural Science, Psychology, Child and Youth Care, Developmental Services, Social Services, Education, Early Childhood Education, or another closely related field. Demonstrated experience working with children, youth, adults, or individuals with developmental, behavioural, communication, or learning needs. Perform other reasonable duties related to the position. Required QualificationsThe ability to collect accurate data and complete clear, professional, and timely documentation using organisational systems. A diploma or degree in Behavioural Science, Autism and Behavioural Science, Psychology, Child and Youth Care, Developmental Services, Social Services, Education, Early Childhood Education, or another related field.
