*Job Overview* We are seeking a reliable and skilled Flatbed Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and the ability to operate heavy equipment. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
*Responsibilities*
* Safely operate a commercial truck to transport freight to designated locations. * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. * Secure, Tarp, Untarp Load and unload cargo, utilizing forklifts and other heavy equipment as necessary. * Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. * Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on the truck as needed to ensure optimal performance. * Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation.
*Qualifications*
* Must be 25 years of age or older * Must have a minimum of 3 years AZ trucking experience * No more than 3 minor convictions in the past 3 years * No serious or major convictions in the past 3 years * No suspensions in the past 3 years * No At Fault accidents in the past 3 years * Valid Commercial Driver's License (AZ or Class 1) is required. * Proven experience in commercial driving with a strong understanding of freight transportation. * Familiarity with Flatbed, Step Deck heavy equipment operation. * Basic knowledge of automotive repair is preferred but not mandatory. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols. * Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
