If you enjoy hands-on work, take pride in maintaining high-quality facilities, and thrive in a team environment, we'd love to hear from you.Whether you have previous arena experience or are looking to learn a new trade, we provide training for motivated individuals with a strong work ethic.Main DutiesMaintain ice surfaces, including operating an ice resurfacer (Zamboni) and edgerPerform ice depth checks and equipment inspectionsAssist with general facility maintenance and upkeepClean dressing rooms and common areasRestock washrooms and facility suppliesEmpty garbage and recyclingRemove snow from entrances and exitsHelp to ensure the facility remains clean, safe, and welcoming for all usersWhat we're looking forPrevious arena experience is considered as asset; but training will be providedMechanical aptitude and experience working with equipment, machinery, or toolsStrong communication and customer service skillsDependable, reliable, and punctualPositive attitude with a strong work ethic and willingness to learnAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentComfortable working independently with minimal supervision, while also contributing as part of a teamAvailability to work a variety of shifts, including days, early mornings, evenings, weekends, and most holidaysValid driver's license with a minimum of two (2) years of driving experienceCompensation:Hourly wage: $17.50 - $25.00 per hour.
