Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Organize tasks to accomplish the work. Prepare and submit reports. Co-ordinate, assign and review work. Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments. Supervise staff or team. Create interior spaces that reflect clients' needs and tastes. Consult with clients to determine needs, preferences, safety requirements and purpose of space. Advise on selection of colours, finishes and materials, lighting, furniture and other items, taking into account ergonomic and occupational health standards. Area of specialization: Cabinets. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Client focus. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years. Support for newcomers and refugees: Offers mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees . Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees . Does not require Canadian work experience. Support for youths: Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth. Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth. Support for Indigenous people: Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers . Facilitates access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers . Supports for visible minorities: Offers mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees. Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
