Disinfect pens, barns or poultry houses. Handling animals. Monitoring animal health. Perform livestock feeding. Treat livestock health issues. Feed and tend animals. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Maintain quality control and production records. Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry. Perform general farm duties. Examine product for quality and its readiness for the market. Write daily basic progress reports. Set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens and chicken coops. Conduct artificial insemination and spraying or shearing of livestock or disinfecting pens, barns or poultry houses. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Personal suitability: Organized.
