Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work setting: Willing to relocate. Relocation costs not covered by employer. Tasks: Consult with clients to determine the type, style and purpose of renovations or new building construction being considered. Project management. Conceptualize and design buildings and develop plans describing design specifications, building materials, costs and construction schedules. Office management. Prepare sketches and models.
