About this role
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: All weather conditions. Tasks: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs. Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment. Perform minor repairs on appliances. Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair. Work with minimal supervision. Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas. Repair domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems. Type of service and repair: Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system. Types of systems: Plumbing, cold water and drain lines. Equipment: Power tools. Small tractors (lawn/snow removal attachments). Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Bending, crouching, kneeling.
