Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. Restaurant/food services management. Hotel, motel, and restaurant management. Work site environment: Noisy. Odours. Hot. Tasks: Establish methods to meet work schedules. Requisition food and kitchen supplies. Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food. Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures. Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards. Prepare food order summaries for chef. Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres. Establish work schedules. Organize and schedule office work. Supervision: 11-15 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Food Safety Certificate. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Own vehicle.
