About this role
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Take measurement to determine size and shape of dentures. Make impression and mould of teeth, gums and jaws. Fit, adjust and repair dentures. Perform denture whitening and cleaning. Prepare partial dentures. Re-line and re-base dentures. Fabricate mouth protectors, anti-snoring prostheses and removable prostheses on implants. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Hand-eye co-ordination. Fast-paced environment. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Attention to detail. Personal suitability: Client focus.
