Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for permanent Band 7 position within the Audiology department at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust working across our Winchester and Basingstoke sites. The successful applicant will become the lead clinician for Adult Audiology and an integral part of our friendly Audiology team.
The Audiology department at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust provides a comprehensive range of diagnostic and rehabilitativeservices for children and adults with hearing and balance disorders.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work closely with the Head of Audiology and Deputy Head of Audiology to lead the Adult Hearing Service and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
The successful candidate will promote best practice and evidence-based care, monitor the department's performance through service evaluation and audit and have input into future planning and development of the service.

Person Specification
Training and Qualifications Essential
BSC in Audiology or equivalent Registration with the AHCS as an Audiologist or HCPC as a Clinical Scientist
Desirable
MSc in Audiology Completion of a HTS module
Experience and Knowledge Essential
Comprehensive experience of adult audiology assessment and rehabilitation
Desirable
Experience with Auditbase In depth knowledge of recommended procedures and quality standards Knowledge of activity targets Experience of managing waiting lists
Skills and Ability Essential
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
