Job summary If you get a buzz from talking with people, supporting them to manage their own health and wellbeing then you might be the right person to join our nurse and healthcare team. Our healthcare assistants play a vital role in the practice by supporting patients with long term health conditions. They work alongside the practice nurse team to carry out annual checks and help people understand more about their conditions. They also provide support to some of the most vulnerable patient groups including the housebound elderly and those with learning disabilities. Our healthcare assistants build long term relationships with our patients, taking an active interest in their care. They offer support when patients may be worried or anxious and always try their hardest to find the best option available.
