About this role

Job summary

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic administrator to join our Recruitment team. In this role, you will support the full recruitment process for new staff joining the Trust, including advertising vacancies, coordinating pre-employment checks, and preparing employment offers and contracts.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team focused on continuously improving recruitment services through digital innovation and delivering an outstanding candidate experience.

As a Recruitment Officer, you will provide high-quality administrative and clerical support, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure recruitment activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with Trust policies.

You will help deliver a smooth and welcoming onboarding experience by managing recruitment processes promptly and to a high standard.

This hybrid role is based at Milne House, Paddington, with the flexibility to work from home up to two days per week. Occasional travel to other Trust sites may be required.

Main duties of the job

You will provide comprehensive recruitment administration across both Clinical and Corporate Divisions, ensuring recruitment procedures are managed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with Trust standards. You will support candidates throughout the recruitment process, helping to deliver a professional and positive experience from application through to appointment.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience in a busy administrative environment. Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. Strong communication skills and the confidence to liaise professionally with candidates and hiring managers. The flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A collaborative, customer-focused approach with a genuine commitment to delivering an outstanding candidate experience. Education/Qualification Essential

NVQ level 3 Business Administration or equivalent relevant qualification or equivalent relevant experience Good literacy and numeracy

Desirable

CIPD qualification or working towards a CIPD qualification level 3

Experience Essential

Previous experience in an Administrative role

Skills and knowledge Essential

Ability to communicate effectively in writing and face to face with a wide range of stakeholders
