An opportunity has arisen for a medical receptionist to join our friendly team.
20 hrs p/w per week, to be worked over 5 days- Monday- Friday
We are a well organised practice in Bradford, who strive to consistently provide high quality care to all our patients. Our growing list size currently stands at approximately 5000 patients.

Main duties of the job
Duties include greeting patients, and answering and making telephone calls. Administrative duties include computer skills, NHS General Practice experience, Care navigation, requesting repeat prescriptions and processing referrals and documents electronically onto the patients medical record.
Knowledge of SystmOne is essential and flexibility to cover holidays and sickness is also essential.

Administration
To have a knowledge of all Practice procedures and protocols. Photocopying Processing prescription requests Allocated administrative duties Scanning medical documents processing medical reports Reception
Confirming patient details and arriving patients on clinical rota's on Systmone Informing patients of completed repeat prescriptions. Be able to cover all reception positions as necessary Appointments
Process appointment requests from patients by telephone and in person. Deal with home visits requests Computer
Registrations of new patients computer data entry and medical records. Process patients change of address computer data and medical records. Checking if patients are still within practice boundary. Process repeat prescription request in accordance with Practice guidelines. Scan letters patient medical records as required Action reception tasks as necessary Other Tasks
Check clinical rooms after surgeries Ensure building security routine is adhered to checking all doors/windows/alarm. Making bevarages for doctors and colleagues Any other tasks allocated by manager or doctors Chaperone for clinicians if required Complete training relevant to role as required
