Global Mobility team, responsible for supporting the successful transition and integration of international healthcare professionals (HCPs) into life and work in the United States.
The Global Mobility Specialist III plays a vital role in preparing international healthcare professionals (HCPs) for successful transition and integration into life and work in the United States. This role is responsible for delivering a comprehensive range of pre-arrival and post-arrival support services through webinars, one-on-one calls, classroom interaction, resource development, and personalized guidance as part of the Avant United States Transitions Program (USTP). The Global Mobility Specialist III ensures that HCPs are culturally, emotionally, and logistically prepared for both their professional assignments and personal acclimation into U.S. communities.
Essential Functions of the Job
• Serve as a trusted and professional representative of the Avant Healthcare Professionals program, building rapport and fostering confidence with HCPs throughout their transition.
• Educate HCPs through webinars, virtual calls, and one-on-one sessions prior to their arrival, providing resources and tools that support cultural understanding, professional expectations, and logistical preparation.
• Deliver continued education and support during the Avant United States Transitions Program (USTP), including live presentations, small group sessions, and individualized guidance to facilitate community integration and assignment success.
• Create, revise, and maintain educational materials, presentation content, and resource guides to reflect current policies, practices, and cultural trends.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for HCPs throughout the pre- and post-arrival phases, ensuring consistent communication, support, and advocacy.
• Provide customized resources on key relocation topics such as housing, school enrollment, budgeting, transportation, and family support (e.g., spousal employment, childcare).
• Assist HCPs in understanding and adapting to U.S. workplace culture, lifestyle norms, and community engagement expectations.
• Maintain accurate documentation in internal systems, tracking all communications, case progress, and resource delivery.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including, but not limited to, Travel, Housing, Education, and Operations to address challenges and implement effective, individualized solutions.
• Attend and contribute to weekly team meetings, offering updates and participating in collaborative problem-solving discussions.

Normal Work Schedule
This is a full-time position. Standard business hours are Monday through Friday 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Additional time outside of these hours may be needed to complete the essential functions of the job.
Education, Training and Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience in counseling, customer service, global mobility, or a related field.
• Experience working with international populations or living outside the U.S. preferred.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in software tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated cultural awareness and sensitivity, with an understanding of the unique needs of international personnel.

Required Licenses, Certifications, and Other Specific Requirements of Law
• Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) certification and ability to obtain and maintain
