About this role
• Inspect of all assembled products in the run lane for delivery and assess if products can be repaired or must be replaced. • Restore product to like-new conditions using proven techniques, including refinishing, re-upholstery, painting, etc. • Repair damaged stock, wood, fabric, leather, and metal furniture using approved methods. • Understand and follow all safe work practices and rules, including WHMIS. • Document and complete service reports and paperwork, including inventory control information. • Completion of electronic paperwork within our software platform • Communicate any issues (mechanical or otherwise) on the service vehicles. • Attend training on furniture repair topics. • Inspect and validate the repair parts. • Understand, follow, and ensure compliance with all safe work practices and rules. • Assure compliance with all Company policies and procedures. • Demonstrate the company's values in all aspects of their work performance. • Participate in our National Certification program. *Other duties: this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that may be required, or which may change over time, and which can be changed at any time, with or without notice.
