Key Responsibilities
• Set up and operate manual and/or CNC machining equipment such as lathes, mills, grinders, and drill presses • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications • Measure and inspect parts using precision tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) to ensure quality standards • Adjust machine settings to maintain product specifications and efficiency • Perform routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment • Document production activities and report issues to leadership • Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and quality personnel to meet production goals • Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste Qualifications Required:
• High school diploma or GED • 2+ years of machinist experience in a manufacturing environment • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings • Experience with measurement tools and quality inspection processes • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Preferred:
• Technical certification in machining or related field • CNC programming or setup experience
