🔧 Manufacturing Operative 📍 Adlington, UK | 🕒 Full-time (39 hours per week, Monday–Friday)

About the Role: We are looking for a motivated and reliable Manufacturing Operative to join our production team. This is a hands-on role supporting the assembly and manufacture of industry-leading food packaging machinery. Working as part of a skilled team, you will play an important role in ensuring products are built safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards, helping us deliver exceptional solutions to customers around the world.

What You'll Be Doing Production & Assembly

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components in line with engineering drawings and work instructions • Support the manufacture of bespoke food packaging machinery • Prepare materials and components for assembly activities • Carry out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process Teamwork & Collaboration

• Work closely with colleagues across Manufacturing, Engineering, Stores, and Quality departments • Support production schedules and ensure deadlines are achieved • Communicate any issues, shortages, or improvement opportunities promptly Continuous Improvement

• Contribute to process improvements that enhance safety, quality, and productivity • Maintain high housekeeping standards within the work area • Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives Health & Safety

• Follow all Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices • Use tools and equipment safely and responsibly • Report hazards, near misses, and unsafe conditions • Help maintain a positive safety culture across the site

Qualifications & Experience: Essential

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn • Good attention to detail and commitment to quality • Ability to work effectively as part of a team • Good communication skills • Strong work ethic and reliable approach • Ability to follow work instructions and procedures safely Desirable

• Previous experience within a manufacturing, production, or assembly environment • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings • Experience using hand and power tools • Awareness of Health & Safety requirements within a manufacturing environment
